As I’ve admitted on my podcast (The Freak Show podcast on Podbean), these days I’m more of a casual St Louis Blues fan. I’m not going to be a phony and say that I’ve been living and dying with each game of the Blues since my first game experience back in 1980. Continue reading “St Louis Blues Capture the Cup (Lord Stanley’s Cup that is!)”
I have returned from Cancun Mexico, where the temperatures were anywhere from 79 degrees in the evening/morning to about 87-88 at their apex during the days, to here in St Louis where the temperature this morning was 6 degrees and there are remnants of snow and ice all about. It is truly a wonder…and freezing!
Please check out my personal website via Google. If you can find that, all else will follow! Have a great week and let’s connect again soon!
P.S. When I wrote this and recorded my podcast I thought the date was March 5th when in this reality…it is only March 4th! Plus all temperatures above are in Fahrenheit, not Celsius like the temps are noted in Cancun!
Hello…is it my blog you’re looking for?
For those of you that sang that in the voice of Adele in your heads instead of Lionel Richie, please stop. For those of you that read it as Morgan Freeman, good choice! Well Done! Bravo! Continue reading “The Freak Show Podcast”
Hello and welcome to my blog!
I hope your November concluded well. There are 21.5 days until Christmas! I have done zero shopping for gifts. In my defense I was hoping my luck/skill with the lottery numbers (Powerball) would improve. Alas no dice thusfar, so I shall be forced to acquire awesomely appropriate gifts on a minuscule budget…same as before.
For those who are interested, check out my Twitter account (oohaw94) or Facebook (scott.latta.7) or my two podcasts on the Podbean app (The Freak Show and Sports
Have a great Monday and we will chat again soon!
If you follow my other social media (Facebook, Twitter, podcasts, etc.) then you are probably up to speed on my feelings pertaining to contractors and freelance workers. And when I talk about this situation I cannot stress enough that the things I mention do not extend universally to all contractors and freelance workers. That is a major problem with our society in general these days is that a person will make an observation or statement and immediately those words apply to everyone of a nationality or genre and it simply is unfair and incorrect. Continue reading “Communication is a must!”
Hello worldwide readers! Feel free to browse around my blog for a wide-ranging list of topics and interesting perspectives on said topics. As many of you know, I am in the middle of a money drought mostly due to my upcoming wedding in less than four weeks. Then in short order afterwards, Christmas shall be here. Hopefully by February or March I will be able to dig out from under the associated debts for these two events or at least that is my plan. At that time (February-March) I hope to get back in the tattoo chair for some new body art and the blood-letting experience that goes with it.
Good day! Thank you for reading today’s blog post or posts…depending upon how motivated I let myself get. For those intently wondering, there are still no leaked reports to the interweb about a possible Snakes on a Plane 2 movie script or Broadway hopeful play script. I’ve tried to leak one myself but the web at large has categorically rejected it. C’mon how hard can that script be to do? The first one got made and the premise there was toilet paper weak. Good morning and welcome to June 5th 2018. What’s news and interesting? Do you know Bill Gates? Asking for a friend.
You really thought I was going to say cheese didn’t you? C’mon be honest. To be above board here, I thought about it. Continue reading “Cutting the…”
Stop right there. I know mentally there are some of you already gearing up your Star Wars references. I’ve been on Facebook and Twitter since early this morning so the bombardment has only grown in momentum. But if you must, go ahead and sling about your Star Wars forced fourth references.
Good afternoon and welcome!
For the regular readers: Hi, how ya doin?
For the unsuspecting others who landed here via the hands of fate (or a search engine), you may be in for a treat! Or possibly just in for a head-scratcher of a time. Continue reading “Random Things at Random Times”
Hello and welcome. Today is the second Wednesday in March 2018 so if you have a calendar you can probably narrow today’s date down based on deductive reasoning. For the first time in several weeks I feel as though I can catch my breath. No I have not been on a treadmill non-stop or doing a ton of exertion-based exercises. I am meaning from a figurative point of reference, I can mentally exhale and be OK for a minute. Continue reading “Social Anxiety”
Does this happen to you? You wake up and your entire day is gone. When I say gone I mean that as soon as you wake up, the entire day is already planned and accounted for from start to finish. That is me some days and those are difficult days to muck my way through in my opinion. On a more stressful scale, I can only imagine what professional athletes or musical performers go through with waking up, working out, doing necessary obligations and then performing at the end of each night. Now multiple that scenario by months and you can kind of see why Britney Spears decided to go all psycho self-barber all those years ago. It can be a hollow feeling sometimes even if the day is filled with enjoyable activities. I like having a chunk of time or an entire day where there is nothing really imminent; I relish those valleys of activity. Continue reading “The day is over before it has begun…”
